U nastavku prenosimo obavijest koju su nam poslale  mag. Maja Slovenc, pomoćnica rektora i mag. Katja Cerar, voditeljica Službe za internacionalizacijo  Univerze v Ljubljani.

Greetings from the University of Ljubljana.

In the face of the COVID-19 outbreak worldwide, we hope you, your families and colleagues can take good care and will be well protected from the pandemic.

In order for the University of Ljubljana to become the internationally recognised university in the wider region, we are focusing on inclusion in international cooperation, including through an increase in the number of research projects and an increase in the number of foreign students. We promote interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary studies and exchange our achievements in science and art with other universities and scientific research institutions.

At www.uni-lj.si/study you can find informational guides which have been specially designed for international students who intend to study at the University of Ljubljana, information about degree programmes, exchange opportunities, summerschool programmes and additional useful information. At www.uni-lj.si/study/presentation/study-croatian you can find short presentation in Croatian language. Different videopresentations and impressions are available at www.uni-lj.si/study/impressions.

In accordance with the Act on provisional measures for judicial, administrative and other public matters to cope with the spread of infectious disease SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) (The Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 36/2020) all open application deadlines for bachelor and single-cycle master studies have been extended until further notice. Please check our website for more information.

Citizens from Croatia don’t need to pay tuition for study. Fee is paid only by all students with already acquired equivalent degree of education, all doctoral students and all part-time students. Should students wish to do an exchange there are programmes like Erasmus+, CEEPUS and bilateral scholarships enabling it.

We would also like to draw your attention to our Summer School courses which will provide an excellent opportunity for students to get familiar with different fields and disciplines and Slovenia in general.

All those who wish to learn Slovene on their own in a simple, playful and effective way can join the freely accessible online course in Slovene – Slovene Learning Online.

If you would like to receive University of Ljubljana presentation brochures, please fill in the form at the link.

We would kindly ask you to distribute information among your students. Thank you in advance.”
